Regular Meetings of Council
A Council meeting is the forum where all decisions that affect the governing of the community are made. It is during these meetings that Council makes motions and votes on resolutions, providing direction to Administration. Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Council meetings are open to the public, with a standard start time of 7:30 p.m. Please click here for the 2017 Council Calendar. Click here for the 2018 Council Calendar.
The Mayor, or Deputy Mayor in the absence of the Mayor, chairs all Council meetings, in accordance with Morinville's Procedural Bylaw 12/2009. For items not covered under the bylaw, Robert's Rules of Order apply.
