Town of Morinville 2009-2010 Business Plan Released
Town Council approved the Town of Morinville 2009-2010 Interim Business Plan on March 24, 2009. This plan includes some highlights form 2008 and outlines the specific activites and initiatives that will be undertaken over the next year. Please follow the link above to review the full document. Municipal Sustainability Plan
The development of the Morinville Municipal Sustainability Plan is underway. A Citizen Review Committee has been established to assist in guiding the plan's development. Please see the Morinville Sustainability Plan page for more information. Posted May 30, 2009.
Curbside Yard Waste Collection
Bi-weekly Curbside Yard Waste collection runs from May 5 to October 20, 2010. Just a friendly reminder that yard waste includes uncontaminated, non-bagged, organic waste from gardening activities and includes grass clippings, leaves, brush, house and garden plants, small tree prunings and other garden waste but excludes trees, shrubs, branches over 1.2 meters in length, soil, sod, rock, stumps and any other woody materials.

Citizen Survey
The final results for the Citizen Survey were endorsed by Council on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Council and Management are very pleased with the outcome of the survey. The positive results are a credit to the hard work and commitment of all staff. Some highlights of survey include:
- the vast majority of respondents (93%) indicate satisfaction with the overall quality of life in Morinville;
- 85% of respondents are satisfied overall with Town services, programs and facilities; and
- 89% of respondents who had contact with a Town of Morinville employee in the past 12 months were satisfied with their contact.
