Curbside Yard Waste Collection
Bi-weekly curbside yard waste collection will begin Wednesday April 25th and run until November 7th (inclusively). Just a friendly reminder that yard waste includes uncontaminated, non-bagged, organic waste from gardening activities such as grass clippings, leaves, brush, house and garden plants, small tree prunings and other garden waste. Yard waste does not incude trees, shrubs, branches over 1.2 metres in length, soil, sod, rock, stumps and any other woody materials.

Dump Permit/Pass System at Roseridge Landfill
While continuing to provide weekly curbside and recycling collection year round, a user pay disposal permit system for Roseridge Landfill is in place and allows Town of Morinville residents to pay for any extra solid waste disposed of at the Roesridge Landfill through their utility bills.
Solid waste permits are issued by the Town of Morinville located at 10125-100 Ave (main floor); identification is required to obtain a permit. The permit will allow for the disposal of solid waste (garbage, yard waste and recycling) at the Roseridge Landfill. The cost associated with the disposal will be added to the monthly utility bills at a cost of $0.0368/kilogram or $36.80/metric tonne (1000 kilograms).
Residential Garbage
The Town of Morinvill uses an automated curbside garbage, recycling and yard waste collection system.

Just a frienly reminder that yard waste includes uncontaminated, non-bagged, organic waste from gardening activities and includes grass clippings, leaves, brush, house and garden plants, small tree pruning's and other garden waste but excludes trees, shrubs, branches over 1.2 meters in length, soil, sod, rock, stumps and any other woody materials. Solid waste will be collected every Tuesday.
Recycling will be collected every Wednesday.
Yard waste will be picked up every second Wednesday starting May 4, 2011 and ending October 19, 2011(inclusive).
Please ensure your cart or recycling is placed accordingly at the collection point by 7 am.
If your garbage, recycling or yard waste was not collected on the regularly scheduled day, you will receive a note from Standstone with the reason(s) for it not being collected. If you have any further questions on missed pickup, please contact Standstone directly at 1.866.967.4450.
If your garbage or yard waste cart has been broken, please contact Standstone at 1.866.967.4450 and they will investigate and advise the Town of Morinville of the reason for the cart being damaged.
