Are you passionate about our future potential of our Town? Do you want to help us build on the Town of Morinville's vision to be the family choice, embracing the past to build the future?
Are you commited to protecting our heritage and resources while escalating our Town in the Alberta, Canadian and international landscapes as the "go-to" place in rural Alberta that offers a competitive, vibrant and distinctive experience in which to live, work, play and visit?
Are you willing to contribute your experience in marketing, communications, economic development, tourism and/or your knowledge of Morinville's history to make a positive difference in our Town?
If so, we want to hear from you! Commencing in early August 2010 the Town of Morinville will be establishing a Marketing, Tourism and Economic Development Advisory Committee that will consist of public and organizational representative from the community and Town staff. This advisory committee will meet monthly between August and December and will guide the delivery of two related projects: the Branding, Marketing and Communications Strategy, and the Economic Development and Tourism Strategy. The time commitment is estimated at 10 to 15 hours each month to prepare for and attend meetings.
