Biography

Councillor Donna Phinney moved to Morinville with her family in the summer of 1996 as part of the military family.  Now that her husband has retired after 33+ years, they have chosen to make Morinville their permanent home.  She and her husband have three adult children and one grandson.

Councillor Phinney has been involved with Municipal politics for many years.  She worked as an Executive Assistant for the City of Edmonton City Councillor's office.  After being elected in Morinville, Councillor Phinney became involved with Senior's Housing, operating a number of facilities in Edmonton.  Councillor Phinney now manages the Alberta Health Services Aspen House Assisted Living site in Morinville which provides her the wonderful opportunity to both work and live in the community in her chosen field.
