Biography
Councillor Joseph Trapani moved with his family to Morinville in 1996. He and his wife, Barbara, have 2 adult children - Jessica and Christopher, both of whom are in University today; however, still live in Morinville. Councillor Trapani graduated from the University of McGill with a BAA and then serviced in the Canadian Forces for 22+ years. He then started his Municipal life as a Chief Administration Officer for 4 municipalities and in 2007 started his first term as Morinville Town Councillor.
Joseph is a strong advocate for Library, Seniors, Children and a higher quality of life for Morinville. He served as the Deputy Mayor for Morinville and at the present time is on the Morinville Library Board, Assessment Review Board and on the Northern Light Library System Executive Board. Councillor Joseph Trapani has and continues to show strong commitments to make Morinville the Place to Live and Grow for both residents and commercial.
