Biography
Lisa Holmes moved to Morinville with her husband, Thomas, and sons Nathan and Zachary in 2009. She grew up in a small town in Southern Alberta and moved to B.C’s Okanagan-Shuswap for her high school years. She has attended both Okanagan University College and Athabasca University and focused her studies in Political Science and Economics.
Her career so far has been focused in the non-profit sector. She worked developing a fundraising program for a large national charity in 2002-2004. From 2005-2010 she worked as the Executive Administrator for the Alberta Library Trustees Association. She also is the owner of Holmes Photography, a lifestyle portrait and wedding photography studio.
Lisa is an avid reader (both in printed form and online), loves to travel and is enjoying her experience being a hockey mom for the first time. Her family loves to make use of Morinville’s great trail system with nightly bike rides and walks.
