The following notices are made available to the public, providing them an opportunity to express their comments or concerns regarding current development. As each application may be dealt with differently, we ask that anyone wishing to provide comment contact us for more information. Complete applications are available for review at the Town Office.
Development Permits
The following is a list of recently issued development permits for discretionary uses or variances to the Land Use Bylaw. Upon approval, there is a fourteen (14) day appeal period available to anyone claiming to be affected. Notices have also been mailed to adjacent landowners and/or published in the Free Press. (For a list of all previously issued development permits, please contact the Town Office.)

Subdivision Applications
The following is a list of proposed subdivisions within the Town. Written comments will be considered by the Subdivision Authority prior to rendering a decision. Notices have also been mailed to adjacent landowners and/or published in the Free Press.

Redistricting/Amendment Applications
The following is a list of proposed Land Use Bylaw amendments for which a Public Hearing is to be held at a Council Meeting. Everyone is invited to attend the Public Hearing, and for those wishing to provide written comments they must be recieved by 4:30 p.m. on the day before the Public Hearing will be held. Notices have also been mailed to adjacent landowners and/or published in the Free Press.
Bylaw 2/2010 - Land Use Bylaw 4/2003 Text Amendment
Date/Time of Public Hearing: March 9, 2010 @ 7:30 PM
Location: Council Chambers, 10125 - 100 Avenue
Purpose of Bylaw: to provide clarity for interpretation, recreational vehicle parking, parking variance and hard-surfacing, and miscellaneous changes to correct deficiencies and limitations associated with current provisions
