This department also implements capital projects such as the annual road improvement program, water meter replacement, valve, hydrant and manhole replacement programs, equipment purchases, etc. We aim to be the first line of defense against flooding, sewer backups and other related infrastructure failures.
Engineering Standards
Public Works interacts closely with the Town Engineer to ensure that all departmental projects and any engineering related matters are evaluated and implemented in accordance with our existing engineering standards and in conjunction with provincial or federal jurisdiction.
