MSP Samples
A number of municipalities in Alberta have developed their own Municipal Sustainability Plans (MSP) or strategic planning documents addressing sustainability. These plans provide excellent examples of what the development of Morinville's plan may involve. Please note, however, that in order for sustainability initiatives to be truly successful, each community must chart its own path based on its own goals and context. While these plans demonstrate the approaches of other municipalities, Morinville's plan may be quite different, as Council has committed to a "Made in Morinville" approach to sustainability planning.
