St. Jean Baptiste Church

St. Jean Baptiste Church was built in 1908, and deemed a provincial historic site in 1974. Four bells were installed that still ring each day at 12:00pm and 6:00pm. Located at 100th Avenue and 100A Street, the church contains breathtaking paintings, magnificent stations cross inscribed with the names of its benefactors, and artwork displayed on the choir nave and the sanctuary’s gallery walls.

Morinville Centennial Clock Tower

Morinville Centennial Clock Tower was a project undertaken to celebrate Alberta’s 100th birthday, and it provided the parish and town with an opportunity to recognize its heritage.  The Clock Tower is located on the St. Jean Batiste Church site.
