Morinville, AB – The Town of Morinville has partnered with the Musée Morinville Museum, Morinville Farmers Market, Morinville Centennial Community Gardens, Morinville Art Club and the Morinville Community Library to bring Alberta Culture Days to Morinville once again.

Morinville, AB – A 9-11- call was received at 3:08 a.m. on June 30, 2021, reporting a fire at the St. Jean Baptiste Parish in Morinville at 10034 100 Avenue. The Parish was completely destroyed in the incident. On September 16, 2021, the Town of Morinville received the fire investigation report from Can-West Fire Investigations Inc. Due to the ongoing RCMP criminal investigation, no further information will be released at this time.

Morinville, Alta. – Morinville will be moving ahead with the construction of two major projects at the Ray McDonald Sports Center Grounds.
The Outdoor Multisport Facility construction is slated to start the week of August 16, 2021. The Multisport Facility, including the outdoor rink, is aimed to be completed by November, weather permitting. The Outdoor Multi-Sport Facility is an $880,000 capital project funded through the MSP Grant/Safety Initiative Reserve.

Morinville, Alta. – As of yesterday evening (August 9) the Morinville Fire Department has lifted the fire restriction for the Town of Morinville.
All previous burn and fireworks permits that were issued and have not expired are now reinstated. Residents wishing to obtain a new permit can do so online at www.morinville or by calling the Morinville Fire Department at 780-939-4162.
