We provide water, sewer, and solid waste collection for Morinville residents and businesses. Utility rates for water, sewer and solid waste are established annually by Council through the budget process.
A new storm rate was established in 2018. Read the Stormwater Service Charges Bylaw for more information.
Applying for a utility account
If you require a new utility account, complete the application. Ensure the name(s) on the utility account match the land titles document.
Bills and payments
Utility bills are produced monthly and are due on the last day of the month.
Payments made after the due date are subject to a penalty as per the Water Rates Bylaw.

Morinville operates, maintains and repairs ours water, stormwater, and sanitary sewer systems.
Safe reliable potable water comes from EPCOR's Edmonton water treatment plant to a metre vault located in St. Albert. It is then pumped through the regional transmission line to our south reservoir and pump house for distribution.
