Get free tickets to the ultimate all-ages dance party experience. The Video Dance Party will play video hits from yesterday and today and will feature a visit from Hunter, the Edmonton Oilers Mascot! Dance the night away and enjoy a photo booth and concession ($) provided by the Friends of the Morinville Community Library. Check out the great giveaways and contest offered by Mix 107.9.

100 Street between 100 Avenue and 97 Avenue, Morinville

Show up and show off!  Visit the motorcycle, hot rod, classic or custom vehicle show. All Show n' Shine proceeds support the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation. To enter your vehicle, register online or in-store at NAPA Morinville or Morinville Home Hardware or call 780-939-2100. Event is rain or shine.

The Festival Fun Zone features a variety of fun for everyone! The festival action will take place in, around and behind the Morinville Community Cultural Centre (MCCC). Activities may move inside in the event of rain.

  • Festival Fun hosted by the Town of Morinville:
    • 840 CFCW Prize Patrol/ Happy Camper Contest - Say hi to the folks from 840 CFCW and enter to win a great prize from Vision RV between 12:30 and 2 p.m. 
    • 9-hole Mini Golf - Putt for fun or competition on the 9-hole mini golf course.
    • Balloon Artist - Russ will delight young and old with balloon masterpieces.
    • Birdie Box, Golf on the Fly- This mobile golf simulator offers fun for all ages and skill levels! Step inside to play fun golf mini games and test your swing. No experience or equipment is required.
    • Candy Carnival - Play a variety of games to win sweet treats.
    • Community Better Challenge Info Booth - Join the Community Better Challenge and help Morinville become Canada’s Most Active Community and win $100,000 to support local sport and physical activity initiatives! 
    • Community Services Summer Fun Station - Visit the Summer Fun Station to find out information about Town of Morinville Summer Camps, Summer Traveling Adventure program, Block Parties and more! 
    • Creation Station - Drop-in and create a one-of-a-kind creation guided by creation station experts. 
    • Face Painter - Let the talented face painter make you a lion, butterfly, or puppy for the day.
    • Father's House Church Super Mario Bros Booth- Offering fun games, exciting prizes, and an opportunity to book tickets for the Super Mario Bros movie showing later in evening.  
    • Food Trucks ($) - A variety of food trucks will be onsite serving delicious cuisine for purchase.
    • Elder Abuse Awareness Day Info Booth - Join us in honoring World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and learn about vital issues and ways to build a safer community for our seniors. Swing by to grab resources, giveaways, and insights on creating a more secure environment for our elders. Look for the purple balloons!
    • Glitter Tattoos - Mark the Festival Days weekend with a fun glitter tattoo.
    • Indigenous Art Experience - Local artist, Sarah Hall will walk participants through creating an art piece to take home.
    • Inflatables - Enjoy bouncy inflatable fun in the inflatables.
    • Laser Tag - Come as you are and play outdoor Laser Tag, complete with obstacles.
    • Live Music - Local talent will entertain festival goers.
    • Live Performances - Be dazzled by a variety of talented performers.
      • 9:30 a.m. Pop-up Drop-in Dance Class 
      • 10:30 a.m. Cirquetastic Step Right Up!
      • 11 a.m. Pop-up Drop-in Dance Class 
      • 11:45 a.m. Hula Hoop Circus

      • 1 p.m. Pop-up Drop-in Dance Class 
    • Morinville Community Library - Enjoy a variety of fun activities and learn about the summer reading program. 
    • PHARMASAVE Fun Booth - Swing by and meet the team from PHARMASAVE Morinville, opening in July 2024, to learn about their pharmacy services. While there, get your blood pressure tested. Anyone with perfect pressure can win a prize. 
    • Photo Booth - Strike a pose and receive a printout to take home.
    • Putnam Law LLP Supersize Colouring Wall - Take a turn on the 20-foot long Supersized Colouring Wall, blow bubbles and enjoy a variety of beach toys.
    • Roving Entertainers - Witness the unique talents of our roving festival performers. 
    • Team Moore, Century 21 Masters Candy Booth - Say hi to Ashley and her team, play some cornhole and get some free candy.
    • Train Rides - Ride on the trackless train at the Festival Fun Zone.

The duet features Jessie Peters and Sadie Baker, both talented artists with extensive musical versatility, vocal range, and high energy. This licensed 18+ show will be a night you won’t forget! Game #4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will be streamed during the event for guests enjoyment.

Picnic Bingo

Connect with your neighbours and play a variety of bingo games complete with amazing game prizes and door prizes, all at Skyline Ball Park. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, bingo dabbers or markers and enjoy treats from food trucks ($) onsite or bring a picnic. This is an all-ages, free event. Limited capacity, registration recommended. Should weather be poor, event will be moved to Morinville Community Cultural Centre.
