We recommend you bring your questions or concerns to Administration before speaking to Council. In many cases, Administration can resolve issues quickly and easily. You can email us or call 780-939-4361.
Write to Council
Write a letter or email Mayor and Council.
Council correspondence is distributed electronically to all members of Council and a copy of the same correspondence, redacted in accordance with the FOIP Act, will be placed in a binder available at the front desk in Town Hall.
Depending on the complexity of the issue, your question or concern will be dealt with either by Council, an appropriate Administrative department, or a Council Board/Committee.
Please allow several weeks for a response.
Speak to Council
You can speak at a Regular Council or Committee of the Whole meeting. Complete and email the Delegation/Public Presentation Request form to our Legislative Officer.
- The Legislative Officer will contact you to schedule a date and time for your presentation.
- All presentation files (not web-hosted) must be provided to the Legislative Officer by email or memory stick 7 days before the meeting date.
- You will have five minutes to speak to Council at the meeting.
- Discussion will be limited to information contained in the presentation
Public hearings
You can participate in public hearings regarding issues and decisions that may affect you or the community. Public hearings take place in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
