The Outdoor Rink is NOW OPEN!
Our outdoor rink is located at 9908 104 Street at the Ray McDonald Sports Center grounds.
The rink provides various spontaneous use opportunities for unstructured recreation.

Before visiting
To comply with the provincial public health measures announced on December 8, 2020, games of hockey, ringette or shinny or any other activity that brings users within close contact (under two metres) on outdoor boarded rinks or social ice surfaces are not permitted.
- Outdoor rinks can be enjoyed by individuals or by groups of 10 or fewer people skating together.
- Maximum capacity of the Outdoor Rink at this time is 10 people
- All ice surfaces will be unsupervised (like playgrounds). Signage will be on-site about how to play safe. Ice surfaces will be maintained at the current, rotational service levels.
- No tag, hockey, ringette or shinny
- Sticks and pucks are allowed for skills practice.
- Ensure you are at least two meters physical distance from others. If it’s too crowded to keep two meters distance, please come back at another time.
- Please restrict your visit to 60 minutes
- The washrooms are closed
