Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, Morinville residents may experience delays and/or disruptions to postal-related services. This includes the distribution of paper utility bills, which cannot be sent by mail at this time. However, residents must still pay their utility bills on time and for the correct amount. Please note that the next utility bills will be available on Tuesday, December 10. Each year, Town Council appoints members of the community to its municipal boards and committees.
Morinville boards and committees are comprised of Council representatives, members of public and organization/group representatives. This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to take part in the decision making process on issues that affect our Town.
Generally, Council representatives serve 1-year terms and members of public and organization/group representatives serve 3-year terms (unless otherwise directed by legislation/bylaw or Council resolution). Members can be re-appointed for successive terms (unless otherwise directed by legislation/bylaw or Council resolution). Recruitment takes place every fall for terms that take effect November 1.

Council Remuneration Review Committee
The Council Remuneration Review Committee advises Morinville Council on matters related to the salary for Mayor Councillors', per diems, benefits, and other matters that may affect remuneration.
The Assessment Review Board hears and deals with complaints against property assessments.
Community Services Advisory Committee
The Community Services Advisory Committee advises Morinville Council on matters related to social well-being of our residents.
Morinville Public Library Board
The Morinville Public Library Board is responsible for the Public Library.
Subdivision and Development Appeal Board
The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) hears appeals from people affected by decisions of the Development Authority.
