Free Canada Day celebration returns to Morinville

Enjoy live music, games and community activities at the Ray McDonald Sports Grounds

Morinville, Alta. - Morinville invites residents and visitors to celebrate Canada Day on Wednesday,
July 1, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Ray McDonald Sports Grounds. Presented by Team Moore, Century 21 Masters, this free community event will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities and opportunities to connect with neighbours and community members. 

Morinville Canada Day Activities:

• Community Services Summer Fun Station
• Cookies from Mayor and Council 
• Cornhole with Team Moore, Century 21 Masters
• GFL Education Station
• Inflatables, a foam party and face painting
• Live music and a formal program starting at noon
• Meet and greet with animals for adoption from the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society
• Métis dance workshop
• Photo booth and door prizes
• Skills and drills with the Morinville Youth Basketball Association
• Touch-a-Truck experience featuring local emergency and municipal vehicles
• Onsite food vendors ($)
