Morinville Festival Days Returns June 19 & 20 with Two Action-Packed Days of Fun 

Morinville, AB  From live music and family activities to food trucks and community favourites, Morinville Festival Days will bring two days of summer fun to Morinville on June 19 and 20. This signature annual event draws more than 3,000 attendees each year and features a mix of activities for all ages 

Festival Days 2026 Highlights 

  • Reserve your free tickets in advance for Friday night’s Kickoff Dance Party featuring live music by The Oddibles, fun activities and a special appearance by Hunter the mascot. 
     

  • NEW: Watch or take part in the new Pedestrian Parade by walking, rolling, riding or strolling through Morinville. Costumes and decorated wheels are encouraged; registration is required to be in the parade. Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. 
     

  • Before or after the Pedestrian Parade, enjoy the free Mayor & Council Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m., featuring live entertainment. Then head over to the Festival Fun Zone from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., where you'll find more than 30 attractions for all ages to enjoy. 
     

  • Turn up the excitement Saturday afternoon as firefighters from the region battle it out at the Morinville Firefighter Combat Challenge. 

“Festival Days is all about bringing people together to celebrate community, create memories and enjoy everything Morinville has to offer,” says Kathleen Ducharme, Events and Programs Coordinator. “From live entertainment and family fun to exciting new experiences like the Pedestrian Parade, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this year.”

Friday, June 19 

6:30 to

Kickoff Dance Party 

Morinville Community Cultural Centre, 
9502 100 Avenue 

Free all ages dance party with live music, activities and a concession. Tickets are free but must be reserved online in advance. 

Saturday, June 20 

8 to  
10:30 a.m. 
 

Pancake Breakfast with Mayor & Council 

Morinville Community Cultural Centre, 
9502 100 Avenue 

Start the day with a delicious free breakfast and live local music. 

8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
 

NAPA Morinville Show N’ Shine 
100 Street, between 100 Avenue and  
97A Avenue 

Visit the hot rod, classic and custom vehicle show and enjoy a variety of fun activities on-site, in support of the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation. 

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
 

Park & Ride 

Various locations, every 20 minutes 

Hop on the free Community Bus to easily visit festival sites across Morinville. View the online ride schedule.

Festival Fun Zone

Enjoy over 30 amazing attractions, plus live entertainment and food trucks ($). Don’t miss special attractions like inflatables, train rides and the Farmers’ Market ($).

NEW! Pedestrian Parade 
The parade starts at Morinville Public School and ends at the Festival Fun Zone. 

Watch the parade to get into the Festival Days spirit, or register yourself, friends, family, community group or business to take part in the fun! Registration is required and open until June 15.

Morinville Firefighter Combat Challenge 
Morinville Leisure Centre, 25126 SH642, Sturgeon County 

Watch Morinville’s finest firefighters and others from the region compete in obstacle course challenges for the ultimate bragging rights! 

3 & 6 p.m. 

TFH Summer Cinema

Enjoy movie night at The Father’s House Church featuring David at 3 p.m. and How to Train Your Dragon at 6 p.m. Fresh popcorn and concessions will be available for purchase ($).

Festival Days continues to be one of Morinville’s most anticipated community celebrations, bringing residents and visitors together for two days of entertainment, activities and connection. This year’s celebration is made possible through the support of dedicated volunteers, community partners and sponsors, including the Festival Fun Zone presenting sponsor Ashley Moore Realty Team – Century 21 Masters, and Festival Days media partners 840 CFCW, K-97, 96.3 The Breeze and New Country 97.9.
