Home business

If you are an occupant of a dwelling and you conduct business activities in any form, it is a home business.

Approvals

Some approvals you may need are:

  • A home business does need to complete a questionnaire and may require a permit. This helps us determine how your business may affect our community.
  • Any changes to the building or land may need permits. This depends on the changes you may do to the property.

You will also need to apply for a business licence.

Commercial and/or industrial business

If you are looking for a parcel or vacant land, you can view our listing service or reach out to a local real estate agent.

Approvals

Some approvals you may need are:

  • If you changing the current use of the building or the rezoning of the land. This depends what type of business you are planning to put at a location. You may also need federal or provincial approvals.
  • Any changes to the building or land may need permits. This depends on the changes you may do to the property.

You will also need to apply for a business licence.
