Morinville, AB- We are pleased to announce that the commercial property at 10002 100 Avenue, a Storefront Improvement Program recipient, has now completed exterior updates to their building.
The program, launched in February 2020, was intended to provide businesses the opportunity to enhance their commercial storefront, improve the visual aesthetic of commercial properties, and increase sales and foot traffic within the improvement zone to facilitate future investment.

Holiday Food Drive in support of Morinville Food Bank taking place December 12

Morinville, AB- On Saturday, December 12, a no-contact, drive-thru food drive will be held at the Morinville Food Bank. Santa & Mrs. Claus will also be onsite bringing Christmas cheer. Non-perishable and monetary donations will be accepted by volunteers at the no-contact, drive thru with health and safety measures in place. The community is asked to enter the drive thru from the back alleyway at 107 Street (behind Shell) when traveling to the food drive, as there will only be one-way traffic...

Roseridge is upgrading their weigh scale software
All residential permits will expire December 31, 2020 and need to be replaced
Residents must register for their new Roseridge card online at Roseridge or call the Town of Morinville at 780-939-4361 for assistance
Once registered, we will confirm and approve the information and mail out your new card
New cards take effect January 1, 2021

Morinville, AB – Residents and businesses are encouraged to join us virtually Tuesday, December 1 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for our Budget 2021 Virtual Forum. Share your thoughts with Town Council on:

Lite Up the Nite Event cancellations and changes

Morinville, AB – Yesterday afternoon Premier Jason Kenney, and Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, announced that effective immediately, a State of Public Health Emergency was declared in response to COVID-19 cases continuing to rise across Alberta. The new measures are in effect from November 24 for at least three weeks, and do have impacts on the Lite Up the Nite Christmas Festival planned this weekend.
