Morinville has launched a “Name our Morinville Snowplows” contest, giving community members the opportunity to showcase their creativity and winter spirit.

Gutter Ramp Removal Past Due

In accordance with the Traffic Safety Bylaw 4/2023, Part 11, Enforcement Services has begun issuing warnings to residents who have not yet removed their gutter ramps.
Communication to residents regarding the November 1 deadline for removal was sent in the October utility insert, made available on our website, shared on social media and posted around town on our electronic messaging boards.

Morinville Council approves 2024 Council Calendar

Morinville, Alta. – At their Organizational Meeting of Council on October 24, 2023, Council approved the 2024 Council Calendar, which included a new meeting schedule.
Council meetings will now see a standing agenda item for Committee of the Whole (CoW) within Regular Meetings of Council, thereby reducing the number of meetings of Council per month to two (2), taking place the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
All meetings of Council will begin at 4 p.m., unless directed by Council resolution.
