Morinville, Alta. – The Town of Morinville is proud to announce that its ‘More in Morinville’ campaign has been recognized with two major honours at the 2025 Economic Developers Alberta (EDA) Awards of Excellence.

The Town of Morinville and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 2426 have reached a new collective agreement.

Morinville, AB—Morinville Council met today to consider the municipality's Chief Administrative Officer position. Council has elected to revoke the appointment to enable a change in leadership. The termination of the Chief Administrative Officer's employment was done without cause.
