Morinville, Alta. – Morinville residents, businesses, community organizations and regional partners are invited to attend the first State of Morinville event on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre. 

Morinville residents will see a modest municipal property tax increase in 2026 after Council approved a 1% tax rate adjustment at its April 28 meeting. The increase is lower than the 2.46% originally approved during budget deliberations and reflects stronger-than-expected assessment growth.

Morinville, Alta. — Morinville is pleased to announce that Council has approved the Morinville 2026–2030 Strategic Plan. Approved at the April 14, 2026, Council meeting, the plan sets a clear and focused direction for how Morinville will align its priorities, resources, and decisions over the next four years — identifying high-impact areas for the community.
