What is the Bylaw About?

A Municipal Development Plan (MDP) is like a roadmap for our community. The MDP builds on Morinville’s vision for the future, setting out key policies and directions to guide how the community grows and evolves over time. This plan is a tool for the people of Morinville, Council, and Administration, so it was created from the ground-up with community-driven planning. By putting the community first, this plan affirms what the people who choose Morinville value and what they want for its future.

How Can I Participate?

Advance registration to speak in-person is encouraged but not required. Written submissions and registration to speak by video conference must be submitted by 4 p.m., January 26, 2026 to ensure you receive instructions to access the video conference; to do so, email legislativeofficer@morinville.ca. A copy of the report relating to the Bylaw can be found by visiting www.morinville.ca/councilcalendar and selecting the link to the August 26, 2025, Regular Meeting of Council.
