Treaty 6 Flag Raising

Morinville, Alta. – Today, Morinville Mayor and Council, along with Alexander First Nation’s Chief Arcand Jr. and Council, raised the Treaty 6 flag at Town Hall.

Today’s flag-raising ceremony is very important. We are proud to demonstrate our commitment to, and importance of our Indigenous neighbours, by flying the Treaty 6 flag year-round at Town Hall. We also proudly fly the Treaty 6 flag at the Morinville Leisure Centre.
