CFCW Critters face off against Morinville firefighters in charity hockey game

A fun, spirited match between the CFCW Critters Hockey Team and Morinville's firefighters (Morinville Heat). 

A 50/50 draw, Chuck-A-Puck raffle and a silent auction with all proceeds going to the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation. 

A special puck drop and remarks will happen at 7:00 p.m. to kick off the evening. Members of the media will be invited onto the ice to join representatives from Morinville Town Council and the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation.

Charity supported: All event proceeds support the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation, which provides critical services for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence. The foundation is well-known for Jessie’s House and Elieen’s Space. Jessie’s House is a trauma-informed facility and emergency shelter that operates on a person-centred approach to promote healing and empowerment to individuals to break free from domestic abuse. Eileen’s Space is a second-stage housing program that provides longer-term residences for survivors transitioning from emergency shelters.
