Park Enhancements Taking Place at Ray Macdonald Sports Grounds
Splash Park temporarily closed

Morinville, Alta. – The Town of Morinville has received a Canada Community Revitalization Grant, which is being used to make park enhancements at the Ray Macdonald Sports Grounds, located at 9908 104 Street.

Due to the proximity of the work, the Splash Park is temporarily closed throughout the construction period. Notification will be sent out as soon as the Splash Park can be reopened. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic may experience temporary disruptions and minor delays.

The perimeter of the construction area will be fenced off with adjacent sports fields and playgrounds remaining open.

Park enhancements will include:
• An outdoor washroom and changeroom
• A seating and picnic area
• Enhanced landscaping and walkways

Construction on this project is expected to be completed later this summer. For information and updates on construction projects happening in Morinville, please visit: www.morinville.ca/construction.
