Rock the Rails taking place this Friday

Morinville, Alta. - Rock the Rails, presented by Linda Getzlaf RE/MAX Real Estate, returns on Friday, August 23 for an evening of epic fun. Youth ages 6 to 17 are encouraged to bring their skateboards, bikes, or scooters to Bob Foster Extreme Sport Park to try out some new tricks.

What: Rock the Rails, presented by Linda Getzlaf RE/MAX Real Estate
When: Friday, August 23, 3:30 to 7 p.m.
Where: Bob Foster Extreme Sport Park (107 Avenue and 107 Street)

• 3:30 to 7 p.m. - Food Trucks - Hall of Flame Meat Co & El Quetzalito
• 3:30 to 6 p.m. - Demos, Live Music, Photo Booth & Vendors  
• 6 to 6:45 p.m. - Paint the park
• 6:45 to 7 p.m. - Prize draws

“This is an incredible event for our youth, where they can see athletes showcase their skills, express themselves with some cool spray art, and take home some exciting prizes,” says Kathleen Ducharme, Events & Programs Coordinator. “We realize the event postponement last week may have impacted some people's plans, but we hope everyone can join us this Friday.”

There is no cost to attend, and registration is not required. Vendor booths and food trucks will be on site with items for purchase. All youth must have a helmet to ride in the sport park. For additional details, please visit calendar.morinville.ca.
