Proclamations and Recognition
Each month the Mayor announces special days, weeks or months for community-based campaigns or programs. We then post this information to our website and social media. The Mayor will share proclamations during a Regular Meeting of Council.

Declaration of Proclamations
We welcome requests from residents, businesses or charitable/non-profit registered societies. The Mayor bases his selections on their positive impact on the community. Requests must be submitted/resubmitted each year to be considered. Contact us if your event or initiative meets any of these requirements:
- Community support and improvement
- Education programs
- Awareness programs
- Charitable fundraising, or similar activities
