Boards and Committees

Council boards and committees

Each year, Town Council appoints members of the community to its municipal boards and committees.

Morinville boards and committees are comprised of Council representative, members of public and organization/group representatives. Each year, Town Council appoints members of our community to serve on municipal boards and committees. This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to take part in the decision making process on issues that affect our Town.

Generally, Council representatives serve 1-year terms and members of public and organization/group representatives serve 3-year terms (unless otherwise directed by bylaw or Council resolution). Members can be reappointed for successive terms. Recruitment takes place every fall for terms that take effect November 1.

All applications will be reviewed and candidates will be invited to attend an interview on the evening of October 3 or 5, 2023.

Applications for 2023 vacancies will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on September 25, 2023
