Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, Morinville residents may experience delays and/or disruptions to postal-related services. This includes the distribution of paper utility bills, which cannot be sent by mail at this time. However, residents must still pay their utility bills on time and for the correct amount. Scott has been a resident of Morinville his entire life. Scott and his wife Ashley are happily married with four children. Not only does Scott call Morinville home but it is also a place where he does business at the family owned Morinville Sports Ltd. He is an active volunteer within the community. From 2005 to 2008, he volunteered with the Morinville Fire Department, and has held a variety of positions with Sturgeon Hockey Club. He is the President of Morinville Minor Baseball where he has served on the executive board since 2016. Scott has come to politics out of his love for community and neighbours.
Scott holds a Journeyman Electrical Certificate, is certified in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Processes, and is a licensed Mortgage Broker. Scott has in-depth knowledge with the Alberta codes and regulations and his expertise may be relied on when dealing with related issues. Scott has years of experience in policy/procedure writing and review, and has ample experience in evaluating risk and compiling plans to eliminate or mitigate risks. He also has extensive knowledge in budgeting and forecasting.
Morinville is home and a place that Scott loves. There is no one who wants Morinville to succeed more than he does!
