Morinville, Alta. – June is recognized as Pride Month in Morinville. This is a time to celebrate the diversity of Morinville and reaffirm our commitment to creating a community where everyone is treated with dignity, respect and inclusion.
Morinville, Alta. – Morinville is once again taking part in the ParticipACTION Community Challenge this June — a national movement encouraging Canadians to get active in ways that move them. The challenge runs from June 1–30, with a top prize of $100,000.
At approximately 5:45 a.m. this morning, the Morinville Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a fourplex condominium in Morinville. A full-scale response was initiated, with mutual aid support provided by St. Albert, Gibbons, Sturgeon County, and Alberta Health Services.
The Town of Morinville is pleased to announce that Michelle Hay has been appointed as its Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective today.
Ms. Hay brings a wealth of experience in municipal leadership, most recently serving as Morinville’s General Manager of Administrative Services and Interim CAO during key transitional periods in 2022 and 2024/25.
