GFL Outdoor Multisport Recreation Facility

Located at 104 Street and 99 Avenue, the GFL Outdoor Multisport Recreation Facility (GFL-MRF) features a skating rink during the winter months and basketball courts during the summer months. The facility measures 180' x 80' and is open daily for drop-in, spontaneous use.

The GFL-MRF is open daily except during quiet hours or when safety concerns require closure. Quiet hours are:

• Monday to Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and 
• Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Generally, if the lights are on, the GFL-MRF is open unless signage indicates otherwise.

During the winter, weekly ice maintenance is performed as weather permits. The rink requires consistent below-zero temperatures to create and maintain the ice surface, which takes approximately two weeks to install once conditions are met. Signs will be placed at the gates when ice is being made (fall/early winter) or removed (spring) to indicate closure.
