Event Weekend Facility Impacts (Feb 13 and 14)
The Morinville Leisure Centre will be hosting a cheer event and hockey games on Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14.
Parking & Traffic
- Expect a full parking lot. Please carpool if possible.
- No parking is permitted along Highway 642 for safety and traffic flow.
Facility Closures (Feb. 13 at 8:00 a.m. – Feb. 15 at 9:00 a.m.):

Fitness Centre remains open (Cardio Zone may have reduced equipment; track members can use treadmills).
Program Cancellations
- Friday, Feb. 13: Pembina Youth Activate, Drop-In Pickleball, Lunch Time Burn, Chair Yoga, Lift
- Saturday, Feb. 14: Drop-In Pickleball, Any BODY Bootcamp, Roll & Release, Youth Volleyball
Welcome to the Morinville Leisure Centre
The Morinville Leisure Centre (MLC) is a multi-purpose recreation facility that offers many amenities. The MLC is located at 25126 SH642, Sturgeon County, Alberta.
Hours of Operation:
- Sunday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Monday–Friday: 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Satutory Holidays: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Closed on Christmas Day)
Please note that Fitness & Recreation Programs do not run on Statutory Holidays.
