Kickoff Dance Party

Friday, June 19

Morinville Community Cultural Centre | 9502 100 Avenue, Morinville AB

Get ready for a free dance party with live music, glowsticks, caricature artist, Hunter the Mascot, glitter tattoos, a retro arcade and a paid snack concession. Grab your friend and hit the dance floor as The Oddibles bring the heat with a setlist spanning decades and genres—rock, pop, country, disco, Motown, and R&B. Don't miss the fun.  

Tickets on sale May 19, 2026. Tickets* will be available to Morinville and Sturgeon County residents over the age of 16 from May 19 to 21, at the MCCC box office during operational hours. Proof of residency required. Tickets available to the general public online, in-person at the MCCC, and by phone, starting May 22 at 9 a.m. This is a free, ticketed event. Ticket required for everyone in attendance. Limit of 8 tickets per household. Please order only the tickets you will be using to ensure that everyone can enjoy this great family event.

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. 

If you are unable to attend, physical tickets can be returned to the Morinville Community Cultural Centre before the event to be distributed to the waitlist. Online tickets can be returned via emailing info@ticketpro.ca and will be released back online and available for ordering. Tickets are free and have no cash value. Should the event sell out, you can check back here for online tickets that have been returned and/or be added to the waitlist by calling Community Services at 780-939-7839. For more information, please contact Community Services at 780-939-7839.

Morinville Community Cultural Centre (MCCC) | 9502 100 Avenue, Morinville, AB

Bring the family, invite your neighbours and join Mayor & Council for a free pancake breakfast. After breakfast, head outside to the Festival Fun Zone and join in the fun. 

Free parking is available at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre, or use the Free Park & Ride service.

100 Street, between 100 Ave and 97A Ave

Visit the hot rod, classic and custom vehicle show and enjoy a variety of fun activities on-site. 

All Show N' Shine vehicle registration proceeds support the Jessica Martel Memorial Foundation. To enter your vehicle register online or in-store at NAPA Morinville or Morinville Home Hardware or by calling 780-939-2100. Show up and show off!

This event is free to attend and runs rain or shine. 
100 Street will be closed for this event from approximately 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., please follow road detours.
Free street parking is available, or use the Free Park & Ride service.

Walk or park once and hop on the Community Bus to visit the three festival locations for Morinville Festival Days. The Community Bus will stop at the following festival locations for pick up/drop off approximately every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

  • Festival Fun Zone, presented by Team Moore, Century 21 Masters - Morinville Community Culture Centre
    • Bus will stop at the front entrance
  • Fire Fighter Combat Challenge - Morinville Leisure Centre
    • Bus will stop near the flag poles at the front of the building 
  • Napa Morinville Show 'N Shine - 100 Street 
    • Bus will stop at the southwest corner of 100 Ave and 100 St

Signage will be on-site to designate where the bus will stop at each location. The Free Park & Ride is a first-come, first-served service with limited seating; the bus is accessible.

The Festival Fun Zone, presented by Team Moore, Century 21 Masters, features a big variety of free fun for everyone! The festival action will take place in, around and behind the MCCC. More fun is on the way! Activities will be added to the schedule on an ongoing basis.

Candy Carnival & Summer Fun Station

Step right up and play a variety of games to win sweet treats, plus learn about awesome Town of Morinville summer programs.

Creation Station

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Drop in and create a one-of-a-kind creation guided by creation station experts.

Face Painter

Choose from a variety of fun face-painting designs and show off your festival style.

Sidewalk Chalk & Bubbles

Enjoy the bubble machine or make your own and create your own sidewalk chalk art.

Sunrise to Sunset Art Studio

4:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. 

Drop in anytime and create at your own pace in this welcoming, shared art space with the Morinville Art Club. Bring your own supplies and enjoy a relaxed environment alongside fellow creatives.

A free canvas painting activity will be offered, perfect for all skill levels, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., supplies provided.

TFH Summer Cinema

Swing by for cotton candy and a game, and leave with more than just a sweet treat—grab an invite to the movie playing later that afternoon, and proudly hosted by The Father's House Church.

Join the excitement as Morinville’s finest firefighters and others from the region battle it out in obstacle course challenges for the ultimate bragging rights! Plus you can watch the new Pedestrian Parade during the intermission. Admission is free.

Join The Father’s House Church for a fun, family-friendly free movie day on their two big screens. 

Bring the kids, invite a friend, and enjoy an afternoon and evening filled with great films and good company. No tickets needed—just come early, save your seats, and get ready for a great time! Fresh popcorn and concessions will be available for purchase.

New for Festival Days: the Pedestrian Parade—an inclusive, people-powered parade welcoming walkers, strollers, scooters, bikes, wagons, and more! Dress up, decorate yourself or your wheels and show off your Festival Days spirit! Walk, roll, stroll, ride, wheel or wagon your way through this people-powered parade.

Public, community groups, and businesses are all invited to join the fun—creativity encouraged and smiles guaranteed! Registration is required, link to be posted.

All registered participants will receive a participant gift, be entered to win a $100 gift card to a Morinville retailer of their choice! Plus participants will receive a participation gift.

The Festival Days Cabaret brings the party with live music by The Barkells, plus an opening set by Kaeley Jade. Hit the dance floor for a nonstop mix of rock, pop, dance, hip-hop, and country hits from the ’70s to today. Add in licensed bar service with a wide range of drink options, happy hour, a photo booth, high-energy vibes, and an optional gourmet burger bar—it’s the ultimate night out. PLUS, your ticket = your vote, buy your ticket by May 20 and vote on the night’s playlist!

If the Oilers NHL Stanley Cup Final is on, we’ll be streaming it live during the cabaret so you can enjoy the game and the party!
